Due to a change in circumstances and new information from the CDC, in addition to the steps outlined in our press release yesterday (below), we will be suspending the Lifting Lives Program until Monday, April 6, 2020. We will do our very best to reschedule those appointments at that time. Clients needing emergency assistance with diapers and formula will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
This decision was made to protect our clients, staff, and volunteers. We will remain open at this time for walk-in pregnancy tests ONLY unless instructed to close by the CDC or government officials.

Dear friends of JMJ Pregnancy Center,
Amid ongoing concern about the COVID-19 virus, JMJ Pregnancy Center’s top priority is the health, safety, and well-being of our clients, volunteers, staff, and friends. We understand the concern and uncertainty many are experiencing and want to do our part in reducing anxiety and fears by putting in place common sense measures to help reduce the spread of the virus.
At this point, I believe the most prudent action is to maintain our normal hours of operation and continue to serve the moms and families who come to us in need. For many, we are hope in what seems to be hopeless situations, and life literally can depend on the services we offer. We will monitor this situation based on new information and changing circumstances, and if they warrant a change, we will reevaluate our decision.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are making the following changes to our operations:
Blessings,

For many, we are hope in what seems to be hopeless situations, and life literally can depend on the services we offer. We will monitor this situation based on new information and changing circumstances, and if they warrant a change, we will reevaluate our decision.
Out of an abundance of caution, we are making the following changes to our operations:
- Signs have been placed on the doors at both pregnancy centers asking clients not to enter if they have been sick or have been around somebody who is sick. We provide our phone number, so they can call us to reschedule. (attached)
- As a secondary measure, our receptionist, after welcoming clients to the center, will ask if they have been sick or around somebody who is sick. If they answer yes, we will ask them to reschedule and leave.
- We will be diligent in getting our clients assigned to a room, keeping the lobby as clear as possible.
- We have asked our volunteers and staff to help us keep all hard surfaces clean and sanitized throughout the day.
- Our advisors have been asked to wear gloves and masks when assisting clients with pregnancy tests. (This is based on CDC recommendations.)
- We are encouraging all of our staff and volunteers to wash their hands thoroughly and often throughout the day.
- We will wear gloves when handling mail, checks, and money.
- We will inform our donors and friends on social media, our website, and through our Mail Chimp account that we are open and tell them about our new protocols. We will also remind them that we need their help, as much as possible, especially in these uncertain times.
Blessings,
Bob Perron
