Meet Ana
I want to sincerely thank JMJ, especially Sharon, for all that they did for me. Sharon helped me most for the emotional part. She always prayed for me, and I know that her prayers reached the heavens and touched my heart. She was very attentive and cared for my needs with the situation I found myself in.
I was only 3 months pregnant when they gave me news that my baby had a defect in her little belly, where her intestines were developing outside of her body. At the time, I was not planning to have another baby, nor was I stable economically. The news was devastating to me, and in addition to being extremely lonely and helpless, I was creating a life inside of me that would maybe not have a shot at a good and healthy life. I was in a deep depression that had me even doubting if I should have the baby or not. My boyfriend was able to come one time and talk to Sharon also. Although he was supportive of me having the baby, I was unsure how we would make it or what the future even held for us because he had just been incarcerated.
Sharon really brought new and different perspectives to the situation and helped me understand my situation differently. Not only did she call and check on me regularly and offer her support, JMJ was able to provide maternity clothes and vitamins for me each time I came, as well as a baby shower gift for my daughter. For all that she did, I am extremely grateful and blessed. Sharon helped me love myself again, brought peace and counsel to me when I was down, and she made an effort to make me feel like I was not alone in my situation. Thank you JMJ for having such a wonderful staff and for going above and beyond for me and my baby, Anais. Your staff loves what they do, and their personalities helped me get to where I am today. Today, my boyfriend and I are together again raising our daughter with love and support. She is a beautiful miracle.
With Love,
Ana
